Cheryl Wright, daughter of Mr.

Texas received the Lone Star
Farmer Degree at the 53rd An-
nual Convention of Future Farm-
ers of America. This is the high-
est honor given by the Texas As-
sociation to its members.
Darlene Laughlin, Daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Laughlin of
Goldthwaite was performing this
summer as a jazz and blues pro-
fessional singer in the towns of
Melbourne, Wagga Wagga,
Canberra , Sydney, Brisbane,
Towoomba, Surfers Paradise, in
Australia. In Canberra she was
on international T.V.
On August 16, Darlene will
perform at Disneyland, in Cali-
fornia.
