What does the new year of
1972 hold in store for Ameri-

Will it bring world peace,
cures for diseases such as
cancer, a solution for the pop-

poorest American is rich in
comparison with the average
person throughout the rest of
the world where mass starva-
tion prevails.
Yet Americans as a whole
are plagued with sickness, un-
happy homes, juvenile delin-
quency, crime, drug abuse, im-
proper diets due to eating so
much processed food, rising
immorality and weakening of
the dollar due to inflation.
Former President Lyndon
Johnson said the U. S. would
become the “Great Society.
He vowed to eliminate proverty
