20 Year Plan
for Fiji
In October, 1970 several congre-
gations in Huntsville,. Alabama
and one from Opelika adapted a 20
Year Plan for evangelizing the 104
inhabited Fiji Islands. The Fiji
Island 20 Year Plan is at present
on schedule. It is ahead of
schedule in some respects.
As a mutual effort of several
congregations, a number of breth-
ren have worked in Fiji'in the past
3 years. Among those working in
Fiji during this period have been
Marvin Allison, Russell Wilson,
Ronald Coleman, Grady Partin
and Robert Martin. These Ameri-
can brethren of course were
assisted by a number of Fijian
national members. Among the
Fijians are George Seeto, and
William Hazelman.
For further information on the
Fiji effort feel free to write to
Eddie Cantrell at 4903 Holmes
Ave. Huntsville, Ala. 35805.

On Saturday the 15th of last
September a meeting-place
was inaugurated in La Coruna
for the Church of Christ
there. This inauguration is a
part of the expansion pro-
gram that the Church of
Christ has in Spain. It is the
2nd inauguration in this year.
The first one took place in
Zaragoza, on May 13, 1973.
Within a short time, other
meeting places will be also
inaugurated in Sevilla, Coin,
Villarrobledo and Madrid.
The Church of Christ was
established in La Coruna in
1963, with the arrival of the
Novo family. Prudencia Novo
was converted in Brazil in
1957 and moved to La Coruna
6 years later. In April 1964
her husband, Jose Novo, was
converted and baptized in the
Church in Madrid. Five years
later, in July 1969, the 3rd
member of the family, Car-
mina Novo, was also baptized
in Madrid. Carmina is 16
years old now.
This family has always
presented a faithful testimony
in that Northern city, meeting
weekly and telling others
about Christ, mainly through
Bible Correspondence
Courses.
In September, 1971, the
preacher Manuel Guerrero
moved to La Coruna with his
wife and daughter. This has
Worship Service in Spain
meant a great encouragement
for the Novo family and the
number of converted persons
has increased. The Church
has growm in the Guerrero’s
apartment where they have
been holding the weekly ser-
vices. Since it became impos-
sible to continue the meetings
in the apartment the brethren
decided to get the meeting-
place that now has been .
inaugurated. It is located in a
central district of La Coruna,
in 84 av. do Fmisterre.
Speakers for the inaugura-
tion were. Manuel Guerrero,
preacher of the Church, Jack
Sinclair, elder of West End,
in Nashville, that was visiting
Spain, and Juan Antonio
Monroy who taught three
lectures. We had new persons
attending ali our special
meetings

Four New Congregations
in Korea
SEOUL, Korea—The Evangelistic
Research Team held four cam--
paigns this summer on the Island
of Cheju off the southern tip of
south Korea. This is the first time
that the Korean brethren have
been in charge of the summer
campaigns, and they went beauti-
fully. Each campaign here on the
eastern coast of Korea’s largest
island, lasted ten days, with a
three day break campaign.
The purpose of these campaigns
is to establish self-supporting
congregations; while at the same
time distilling within the hearts of
the new converts a spirit and a
feeling of responsibility toward
doing evangelistic work them-
selves in their own area. Totally,
there were 346 led to Christ during
this year’s campaigns.
During two campaigns two
years ago, two congregations
were established Last year two
more congregations were esta-
continued on page 5
