By letters received this morning fro various parts of
the country, we lean, that the Trinity and Braaos river,
re at mldsammer stage. The Indications, however,
Justify the expectation of another rise atan early date-
several boats are In the rivets, unable to move up or
down.
The accounts brought by the "Charles Morgan," from
Sew Orleans ate discouraging to holders of eotton-the
market has given way since our previous advices Je-,
middling being quoted 7 & 7|c. The nles here previous
to ¿his advice are for the week about 2S00 bales, and the
amouot now on factors tables over 3000 bales. Some
small sales were made yesterday at a decline, but the
rates claimed by buyers have not yet been agreed to by
sellers. We quote :

heretofore experienced in supplying the demand for
tint ground in oil will for the future be effectually rem-

. It Is the intention of the Company, in a few weoks.to
manufacture lead, green and other colors from the
Brldgewatar, when it will be immediately introduced in
this marketin convenient sized packages.
The dry mineral can be mixed with lime (Instead of oil)
forordiuary purposes, in covering wood and brick—say
one-twentieth lime, well slacked. This experiment has
been tested at the North, and more recently iu this city,
and works admirably. For directions, a full description
of its properties, certificates, etc., see pamphlet, which
can be nad at the depot, or of any of the sub-agents.
