SARSAPARILLA.
Read the following extract of a letter from Mrs. Riv-
er*, wife of Reverend Dr. Rivert, one of the motl learn-
ed, eloquent, and popular Mink ten of the Me lwdist
EpUcopnl Chwoh, vndwho in at-present stationed at
jJroadivay Church, Louinv'Ue Ky
Louisville, ICy., Oct. 8 1888.
Dn. Jonx Bull—Dear Mr.—Many thanks to
yon for the medicine you have so kindly given
ine. I have been a great sufferer for yours, niwl
had the udviee of various.physicians. Some pro-
nounced my spiue, some my lungs, and some my
heart to be the seat of my disease. I have been
burnt, blistered and cupped until I had become
disheartened. Several very emiucnt physicians
who examined my spiue informed me that I vus
threatened with paralysis or apoplexy any day,
and that nothing but a seton would relieve me.
I had a perfect horror of that, and was hesitating
nfiout having one inserted, when you kindly sent
me your Sarsapurilla which I immediately begun
to take three times a day. I had suffered terribly
j. with a most acute pain in the right side of my
J head, especially when 1 would read or write for
any length of time, and ou rising to my feet I
would be perfectly blind for several minutes, and
would have io hold to something to prevent fall-
ing. . V*
I am most happy to inform you that the pain in
my head is entirely relieved; I suffer but seldom
with my spine, and then iiot sfi Acutely. My ap-
petite is good; indeed for the lirst time in My life
I enjoy my dinner morethun any meal during the
d .
Vou kindly sont me four bottles agrfiii Iftsf. night.,
and I began again thi^jBorning, aiul l hope to be
entirely relieved. Please accept my heart felt
thanks and best wishes.
Very truly your most grateful friend",
M. B. C. Kivebs.
My journal abounds with similar letters, all of
which I guarantee to be genniue and written by
the persons whoBo names they bear.
Do not suffer yourself to be imposed on. Don't
be drawn away after new and .doubtful experi-
ments. Don't risk youT health by letting novices
experiment upon you with their trash.
My SarsapariTIit lias stood the test, for twenty-
five years; it is still- tho Sarsapurilla of the day,
and of the ge, towering over all others in popu-
larity and its curative qualities. .
Avoid all those who are trying to palm off on
you other extracts of Saratiparilla so-called, lle-
ineniber it is Dr.-John Butt's Sarsuparilla,of Louis-
villlo Ky., that ts the 61 d and reliable remedy for
impurities of the Wood and' SCrofulus affectious
Always bear that in mind.
