Caught a Dreadful Cold.
Marion Kooke, manager lor T.

fine millinery at 1658 Milwaukee
Avenue, Chicago, says: "During
the late severe weather I caught a
dreadful cold which kept me
awake at night and made me un-
fit to attend my work during the
day. One of my milliners was
taking Chamberlain's Cough
Remedy for a severe cold at that
time, which seemed to relieve her
so quickly that I bought some tor

began to improve at once. I am

pleased to acknowledge its merits."

Abraham Hare, a leading druggist,

You know why? Most diseases be-
gin in disorders of stomach, liver,

Electric Bitters tones up the

cures multitudes of maladies. It

S. J. Hendrick needs no intro-
duction to the people of Rusk
county, because he was born and
raised here, and held the office of
county judge longer than any other
man in modern times. And it is
but just to say that no man has
ever filled the office of county
judge who rendered more efficient
service to all the people. He is
now a candidete for representative,
and in the campaign commencing
at London, April 20th, he will lay
down his platform, outline the
issues which to him are most im-
portant at this time, and will dis-
cuss them plainly. Judge Hen-
drick has given much study to
state matters, and during the many
long years in which he has lived
here, mixing and mingling with
the people, he has become familiar
with their needs and is prepared to
advocate them in the halls of the
legislature at Austin. While
county judge he made a specialty
of all laws pertaining to educa-
tional matters and gave much
thought and investigation to this
most vital branch of our govern-
ment, and should he be elected he
promises to faithfully watch the
interests of the children along
these lines. He is also thoroughly
acquainted with all laws pertain-
ing to public roads and lands, and
fully realizes the need of a more
efficient road system, and all
measures to protect land titles and
purchasesr in good faith will re-
ceive his constant care and atten-
tion.
