tives served the noon meal in
the hutch room. Other friends
'and relatives called throughout
the afternoon.
Mrs. Bill Dodd, a niece from
Melrose. N. Mex^ presided at
the handmade guest book. Some
176 guests registered.
The serving table was laid
with a lace doth over gold. An
arrangement of seven yellow
mums was a gift from MiSe-Sha-
die Woods of Houston. She sent
them to represent the seven Star*
rett sisters, who have been life-
long friends and .neighbors to
the Walkers and who assisted in
hospitalities for the occasion.
Mrs. Woods was the only one
unable to attend.
The three-tiered wedding cake,
baked by Mrs. Walker's nieces,
was decorated with yellow roses.
A miniature bride and groom
foixned a part of the arrange-
ment completed by a lovely
their daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
Marvin Tidwell and boys.
Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Wooley
left Monday for Hillsboro where
they will visit relatives and at-
tend to business.
