recently been assigned as Adjut

1943. He is a recent graduate of
the Field Artillery Officers Ad
vanced Course Fort Sill Okla.

PROTECTIVE MASK—The U. S. Army Chemical Corps has
come up with this new type breathing device for modern mis-
slemen who must work in the hazardous fumes of missile fuels
and oxidizers. A modification of the commercial air-supply de
vices used by skin-divers the device has adapted the Chemical
Corps mask facepiece to the air supplied by two cylinders worn
on the missileman's back.
