Houston graphic design studio of Steve Neumann &
Friends. "Any job that my boss has given me I've
been able to handle because of the preparation I had
at the Art Institute," she notes. "My training in
production was especially good, and that has beenimportant because production is a big part of my
job." Patricia's firm specializes in environmental
graphics: signage for hospitals, banks, universities
and other public places. "I do layouts, paste-ups and
comps to show our clients. I like the work-and I'm
