dren will be held Monday, Sept.
22. at. the Cerebral Palsy Treat-
ment Center. 3502 Avenue .V Lub-
bock
Cerebral palsy, sometimes refer-
red to ?s spastic paralysis or birth
inj"rv. Is evidenced by the child's
inability to sit. or stand alone or
walk or hold objects at the age
these things 3r accomplished by
the average child. Research has
*hown that treatment is most ef-
fective if started within the first
few mon'hs of the child's life al-
though children respond to treat-
ment begun at a much later age.
Parents who plan to bring chil-
dren to the clinic are requested to
