the common schools of the hind to use

with his diploma believing Texas a wild

mation and errors of thought ought to sug-
gest the true points for tho pedagogue's at
tention but these latter seem lo be us much
in the dark as the pupils If Texas and the
south wero properly undcrsood their popu
lation in the next decade would be astound
Ing and they would dominate the I'nion
but as It is In the absence of any organized
effort to Inform the world correctly it Is
likidy that we will continue for some time
