corsage was formed of a gardenia
encircled with six red rose buds.
A small cocktail reception fol-
lowed the wedding.
After a short wedding trip the
couple will make their home at
732 N. E. 15th, Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma.

' The West Ward P.T.A. was
hostess to all parents, and friends
of the organization in a courtesy
night program on Wednesday.
Mrs. J. E. Purvis called the
meeting to order and Mrs. Bob
Lindsey gave the invocation.
Mrs. Purvis introduced Ed Muii-
'n.v, who, in an impressive cere-
mony installed Mrs. E. H. Young
is president of the organization.
After a short speech of accept-
'11 ee Mrs. Young introduced Mrs.
Galen Hay. program chairman.
The sixth erade. <i«v-er the
direction of their teachers, enter-
nined with Christmas carols and
a clever Christmas playlet.
A group of fith grade girls, un-
der the direction of Mrs. Harold
Moiris, made their initial appear-
ance by singing two numbers.
The highlight of the evening

We endorse the stand of the
local union, in their contro-
versary with the Phillips Corn-
