Mr. L. F. Shanblum left for St.
Louis and Chicago and while in Chica-
go he will represent the Fort Worth
District at the convention of the Am-
erican Zionist Organization.
On Sunday Sept. 14th Mr. Esir
Ablon one of Fort Worth's popular
young men will marry Miss Hazel
Evelyn Dreeben daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Jake Dreeben of Corsicana Tex-
as. The wedding will occur at the
bride's parents at 5:30 p. m. The
couple will then visit Galveston Hous-
ton and several other seaport cities
and return by auto. They will be at
home temporarily after their return
with their brother Mr. Geo. Ablon
who resides at 930 South Lake street.
Miss Sadie Towb gave a lake par-
ty in honor of her guest Miss Ida
Belick of Hugo Okla. last Monday af-
ternoon. After the swim the crowd
motored to Miss Towb's home where
a delightful spread awaited them. The
guests included Misses Gertrude Cans
and Sadie Fleisher of Dallas Ida Be-
lick of Hugo Okla. Gertrude Gordon
Gladys Veit Ida Cohen Nettie Gor-
don Fannie Taub Messrs. H. Taub
Abe Brockman of Ohio Harry Silver-
man F. Bloom and M. Winters. Mrs.
S. A. Friedman of Brcnham Texas
chaperoned the crowd.
Miss Gertrude Cans and Sadie Flei-
sher of Dallas were the guests of Ger-
trude" Gordon.

Texas is the guest of her parents

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Simon and
children returned home after spending
some time in Old Orchard Maine.
Mrs. Max Cohen and daughter spent
Sunday in Dallas.
Mr. and Mrs. B. Z. Friedman of 609
West Weatherford were visited by
their son-in-law Mr. Leopold A. Was-
seman Friday and Saturday.
A regular business meeting of the
Miriam Club will be held at the Khaki
Club on Monday evening September
15th at 7:30 o'clock. There is some in-
teresting work to be taken up at this
meeting and it is hoped that all mem-
bers will be present.
WICHITA FALLS.
Mrs. Ginsburg of Fort Worth is the
guest of her daughter Mrs. Harry
Katz.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pink have re-
turned from a short trip to Dallas.
Mr. and Mrs. William Schwarz and
daughter Regina and Mrs. Jared Sim-
mons of Ardmore Okla. and Mr.
Maury Leterman of Oklahoma City
motored over and spent a few days.
They were accompanied home by Miss
Rose Riesenberg.
..Alfred Fine has returned from a
short trip to Kansas City.
Mrs. Joe Art and children and
mother Mrs. Sam Riesenberg have
returned from a summer trip to Col-
orado Springs and Denver.
Master William Wolfson is expected
home Sunday morning from his visit
to his grandparents in Oakland Calif.
Mrs. Sam Kruger is in Fort Worth
Mr. and Mrs. Lazarus Cohen and
children are domiciled in their home
on Taylor street.
Mr. and Mrs. Phil Kleinman are at
present at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Lazarus Cohen.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Cohen and fami-
ly have returned from California.
Mr. Sol Simon of Fort Worth is lo-
cated in our city.
Mr. Sherwin has returned from
Ardmore Okln.
Miss Rose Riesenberg has returned
from a ten days' trip to Ardmore
Okla.
Cyril Epstein has returned from
Colorado.
Mr. Harry Schwarz was in Fort
Worth last week.
