The T. G. Girls club entertained
with a Leap Year Tacky party Sunday
evening at. the home of Miss Mary
Ablon 2230 Caroline. The large spa-
cious front rooms were tackily decor-
ated and cleared for dancing. . Music
being furnished by a string band.
Everything was carried out very tacky
also the programs and the young la-
dies chose their partners for the even-
ing. Most all the guests were dressed
tacky and Miss Mary Friedman and
Simon Golden well deserved the prizes
given them. Ice cream cones jaw-
breakers all day suckers and orange
pop made all think of their real young
childhood days. Thirty couples enjoyed
a very pleasant evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Israel Dreeben have
gone to Buffalo and New York.
Miss Ruth Liebman is visiting in
Galveston the guest of her sister
Mrs. Marion Levy.
Miss Esther Harris who has the
guest of Miss Hildegarde Simon has
returned to her home in Pasadena
California.
Mrs. Zada Rosenthal and children
have returned from a visit to Shreve-
port La.
Mr. and Mrs. Leon Myers of Pales-
tine are the guests of their parents
Mr. and Mrs. I. Mincer.
Mrs. Sylvan Mincer is visiting her
parents Mr. and Mrs. Pollack of Ok-
lahoma City.
Mrs. Simon who has been visiting
her sister Mrs. Samuel Mittenthal
has returned to her home in Califor-
nia. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Miller are visit-
ing relatives in Fresno Cal.
Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Goldman and
daughter Helen Mae returned Satur-
day from Hot Springs Ark.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Boas have gone
to New York.
Mrs. Tony Miller is the guest of her
sister Mrs. Arthur Alexander.
Mrs. A. W. Purvin of Chicago is
visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. J.
Purvin and her sister Mrs. Emma
Purvin Coleman and Mrs. J. A. Novich.
Miss Sadie Frank of Montgomery
Ala. is the guest of her sister Mrs.
Robert Mayer -2939 South Boulevard.
Mrs. M. Bachrach and children will
leave shortly for a visit to Kentucky.

wedding which will take place
April 26th. Mr. and Mrs. Bonurt Mr.

Mrs. Sol Frankfurt and Sidney Rosen-
baum. Mrs. Henry Cohn has as her guest
her sister Mrs. Pierce of Austin.
Mrs. Emil Strauss has returned to
her home in Atlanta Ga.
Mrs. Frank Sachs of St. Louis is
the. guest of Mrs. Gus Sachs.

els the latest creations in Spring and Summer wear
for Women and Misses. The gowns used in this Spring
Style Show are furnished by THE FAIR and are direct
from the fashion centers of the world and are being
shown in connection with the presentation of the big-
gest motion picture of the year

fred Lorie of Kansas City were mar-
ried Thursday evening at 8:30 at the
Columbian Club. Dr. George Fox of
Fort Worth performing the ceremony.
The reception rooms were decorated
with lilies carnations sweet peas
palms and ferns. Before the ceremony
Mrs. Emma Dietz sang "At Dawning"
accompanied by Mrs. Jules Hexter.
The bridal party advanced down a
satin ribboned aisle to the strains of
the wedding march from "Lohengrin"
played by an orchestra. Little Henri
Bromberg was ring bearer followed
by the maids. Alice Mary Bernstein
wore orchid organdy over pink taffeta
and a pink picture hat carrying a
shower boquet of pink sweet peas.
Miss Beatrice Wertheimer maid of
honor wore canary organdy over taf-
feta trimmed with chantilly lace and
orchid bows. Her bouquet was a show-
er of orchid sweet peas. Fannie San-
ger wore a Nile green frock or organ-
dy and taffeta and hat to correspond
her flowers were nweet peas. The
bride entered with her unne Alex
Sanger. She wore a gown of beaded
georgette over white satin. Her lace
veil was gathered into a cap and fell
into a short train. She carried bride's
roses and lilies of the valley. Sam
Fechenbach and Louis Hexter were
groomsmen and Jack Fechenbach was
best man. After the ceremony a three
course dinner was served to seventy-
five guests. During the dinner dancing
was enjoyed.
Mr. and Mrs. Lorie are spending
their honeymoon in Excelsior Springs.
They will make their home at the El-
more Hotel in Kansas City.
Mrs. Theodore Marcus and Mrs.
Isaac Rosenbaum entertained Monday
afternoon with a tea from four to six
o'clock at Lakewood Country Club in
honor of Miss Erville Rosenbaum
who is to be married to Harold Bon-
urt and Mrs. Paul J. Bonurt Mrs.
Jack Norden and Mrs. Sarah Jordan
of New York who are in the city to
attend the wedding. The reception
room was artistically decorated with
roses and ferns carrying out the bri-'
dal colors pink and white. The tea
table was adorned with American
Beauty Roses.

bishop of the Federation of Orthodox!
Jewish Congregations of Los Angeles
delivered three lectures in Dallas. at'
the Shaareth Israel Temple during the
week.
