The Waco Y. M. H. A. baseball team
by its recent victories claims the state
championship of all Jewish organiza-
tion teams. We have written to sever-
al of the Jewish teams in Texas and
as yet we haven't received an answer.
One of the teams that we have noticed
in the Jewish Monitor news columns
who wants to play any Jewish team in
Texas t owhom we have written seems
to forget to answer or it is that they
are afraid of us. That team is the F.
0. P'Club of Fort Worth. Any team
wishing a game with us please write
to Julius Berktnan .Postoffice Box
1313 Waco Texas.
As an induction to get some of the
teams to play us we will give them a
small affair. Either a dance or a
swimming party or we will play any
team on their home ground on the
same basis.
Mr. Bernard Ginsberag held the
lucky number for the watch that was
given away by the Y. M. H. A. team
for the benefit of outfitting the team
in uniforms.
The Y. M. H. A. team expects to
play Corsicana on the 31st of July. A
big affair is planned for that date.
Another announcement will be given
next week so watch the Waco News
column. The affair will be for the
State of Texas. We would like to get
another team to come over for the
same date so we cuold have a double-header.
