Without Blare of Trumpet or Fairy
Stories We Are After Your FALL BUSINESS
II
WE REALIZE conditions as thoroughly as any firm in this section of the country.
We know that one dollar has the work of two to do this season. While many
merchants were talking dry weather and stringent money matters we were exerting
our best efforts in the eastern markets pounding prices on every item that we bought with a view of offering
greater values on first class merchandise than we have ever offered before. Experience combined with quan-
tity buying for spot cash has enabled us to gather a stock of merchandise much below value first class fash-
ionable merchandise at prices that suit the conditions of this section. Our stock is now complete and aggre-
gates about $110000. We are going to sell the stock at prices that will make this sto$ known and apprecia-
tedin every economical household in the Abilene country. ' 1
We Will Begin Our Price Pounding on a Mammdth
Scale Thjursday October 13 at 8:30 O'clock
and continue through October: Our entire stock will be involved; no limit and nothing- reserved. Come to
this store after you have canvassed the city thoroughly for bargains. You'll find in every instance our prices
are lower quality considered and you'll also find brand1 new up to date merchandise in a greater variety and
in larger quantities than any store in this section-of the state.
