mat it was the Lyric he said they
must be on the same circuit with the
Lyrics in Dallas and Fort Worth be-
cause the performances were equally
as good. When told that this was a
fact he said "Well I hardly expected
Brownwood to support such high class
attractions but I see they appreciate
real art and there is no reason why
the town could not support such a
place. It is a cinch that there is no
better attraction going than those
dished out by the Lyric circuit The
traveling man finds pleasure in at-
tending these performances if there
Is any merit in them but oh. my let
us slide around the 'punk ones."
The Behees are playing at the Lyric
this week and they are pleasing all
with their peculiar program.

WHERE TO ITT IT.
That was the question' that seemingly-
confronted A. V. Jones the recog-
nized toy dealer of Hrownwood when
the .boxes crates and barrels contain-
ing his holiday stock for the present
season arrived last week. However
he and his efficient force of assistants
proved equal to the occasion us is
evidenced by- the neatly arranged ar-
ray of cut glass hand-painted china
dolls toys of all kinds stationery etc.
etc. now on exhibition. As for many
years A I. Jones has again vindicat-
ed his claim as the leading dispenser
of holiday goods in Central Texas and
has this year surpassed all previous
records. ror anyuilng and every-
