In Sachse, Police Chief Tom
Fenley reported the following
incidents:
Feb. 3: Juveniles on ATV
vehicles in Cornwall area.
Because of weather, action
was considered unsafe; no
violations observed, however.
Feb. 4: Police assisted
motorist whose vehicle slid in
ditch because of weather
conditions at Bunker Hill and
Ben Davis. Medical emer-
gency, 3100 block of James;
juvenile fell on ice and was
taken to hospital; firemen
responded.
Feb. 5: Possible DWI, 7200
block of Hwy. 78; police
unable to locate. Chimney
fire, 5900 block of Anthony.
Firemen answered call.
Firemen also responded to
medical emergency in 2400
block of Southridge. Burglary
in 3500 block of Jewel.
Feb. 6: Vehicle in ditch, Hwy.
78 and Salmon; police
assisted. Person who fell on
ice in 3400 block of Plum was
taken to area hospital. Sus-
picious person checked for
being on private property in
6300 block of Hwy. 78; no
report. Fireman extinguished
vehicle fire in 7000 block of
Hwy. 78. Vehicle in ditch on
Miles Road because of
weather conditions. Person
arrested on multiple violations
in 5800 block of Boone.
Person shot with BB gun in
1700 block of Vicksburg;
treated at hospital. Loud
music and gun shot reported
in 4500 block of Parkdale;
police unable to locate.
Feb. 8: Minor accident, 5900
block of Hwy. 78. Police
assisted in locating persons
driving off without paying for
gas; arrests made at Hwy. 78
