ly satirical dialogue typical of Mo-
liere are found at their height in
this play, picked by Director Ralph
Mead for its adaptability to local

Vivian Altfeld as the romantic in-
terest play the other female roles.
Men in the cast include Horace
I Miller, Dell C. Amos, Seth Hath-
away, Robert Bolick, Arthur C.

NO WONDER
A Pfc. was going to New York
on furlough and while there was to
purchase a new sign which was to
be hung up in front of the chapel
for the Christmas season. He copied
the motto and dimensions of the
sign but went to New York and left
the paper in his jacket back ir
camp. When he discovered his mis
take, he wired the chaplain. Ar
hour later a message came over the
wire and the new lady clerk who
had just returned from lunch, and
who knew nothing of the first wire,
fainted. When they looked at the
message she had just taken, it
read: "Unto Us a Child is born, 6
feet long and 2 feet wide
He who laughs last
slow-witted.
