of a disfigured and marred countenance
one that would be handsome, or at least
good-looking, for any one with a clear,
pure skin, no matter what the cut of her
features are, has a certain amount of good
looks which attract everybody. As it is
now she imagines every one sees and talks
about "those freckles," "those horrid pim-
ple.*," and other blemishes with which she
is afflicted, and this is true of either sex.
