Coup's New United Monster Shows, Great
World's Fair aud Paris Hippodrome on
tue Way.
We havB assurances from Mr. Coup, the
progressive showman and man of new
ideas, that he lias arranged to bring his
great show here on Wednesday July 19.
Ia addition to three full circus com*
panies, perloraun« in four great Kings, a
complete menagerie, a large museum, an
automatic exhibition, a sea aquarium, and
haliof statues, with a series of tableaux
representing: the aesa sanation of Gartieid,
with the] identical suit of clothes worn by
Guiteau when he shot the President, he
now has the vast Paiis Hippodrome, the
largest in the world. This immese ex-
hibition is given in an amphitheatre of
enormous sizs?, requiring 75 centre poles,
and is erected by steam and horse power.
It liae a race track forty feet wide and half
a mile long, for steeplechases, hippodrome
races, lox hunts and Roinau chariot races,
in which twenty young aud beautiful ladies
contend for prizes.
Mr. Coup has the reputation of always
keeping his promises, and we may safely
expect thai, he will exhibit everything he
advertises. We must not forget to mention
the free baloon race, which occurs every
fine day, as well as a brilliant street
pageant, comic hit at the times in which
Graut, Bev.cher, Jay Gould aud other
notables will appear
