IF I HAD A MILLION
“Life,” he cried, “is so unfair
I should have been a millionaire!
I’d drive a car, a white Jaguar
with leopard trim and built-in bar,
Complete with blondes and red heads too,
A movie queen or two would do . ..
I’m lazy, crazy, debonnaire
I’d make a perfect millionaire!”
“Instead,” he sobbed, “at twenty-five
I’ll have to work to stay alive!”

Well, sure. There are more Chevies on the road. More people buy ’em year after year. And this year, Chevrolet’s
the most popular car again—by a margin of more than 150,000 so far. . . . Must be the best one to buy, for sure!

CONSIDER
ARE YOU......
in the market for a
Church?
That sounds dreadfully
commercial, doesn't it?
But me truth of the mat-
ter is that literally thous -
ands of persons the world
over are "shopping" for a
Church which fits their
needs.
That's one reason why me
Episcopal Church is grow-
ing so rapidly. It is not a
case of a Church which is
cut to fit a new pattern.
Rather, the Episcopal
Church adheres to me faith
and practice of me ancient
"One, Holy, Catholic, and
Apostolic Church"—the
original Christian Church,
united, undivided.
How far back do we want
to go to return to mat "old
time religion”? We believe
that me place to start is
not at me Reformation or
at any other intermediate
spot in Christianity's al-
most 2,000 year history.
The place to begin is at me
religion laid down by our
Lora,His Apostles, and me
early Church Fathers.
We hold mat everything
necessary to salvation is
to be found in Holy Scrip-
ture, and mat me Church
was founded by her Lord.
We also hold that the
Church compiled me Bible
as a living record of God's
will for us, and mat our
worship of God should be
done with beauty and with
me congregation actively
taking part.
Interested? Perhaps you
don'tagree. Here's a sug-
gestion: visit St .Matthew s
Episcopal Church, across
from Lamar at 796 East
Virginia—we start a series
of classes on me Christian
Faith as we have received
it next Wednesday, Oct. 3
at 8 pun. Church every
Sunday at 7:30, 9:15 and
11 ajn. (—adv.)
