Math Department Experiments
With Exam Procedures
The math department is
experimenting with the pro -
cedure for giving all final
examinations in any given
course at one specific per-
iod. This is purely an ex-
periment and is not in any
way a change in policy of
final examinations.
Math course 133 sections
1-13 and 17 will take their
exam from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
on Friday, January 23. Math
134 sections 1-16 and 21 will
take the final from 9-11 a.m.

At Tuesday's Council
meeting Elvis Mason an-
nounced that the annual
Texas Intercollegiate Stu-
dent Association Convention
will be held March 4, 5 and 6
at Baylor University. This
will be a time for exchange
of ideas concerning the pro-
jects and problems common
to collegiate student bodies.
Wendell Radford, Faculty
Council Retreat chairman,
said the retreat will be held
in the Cardinal Room and
will star tat 5:30 p.m. Top-
ics for discussion with the
faculty will be Western
week, led by Hank Smith;

The Great Issues Commit-
tee will hold a discussion
on the Arabic-Israeli con-
flict Tuesday night at 7:00
in the Cardinal Room. This
will be a student level dis-
cussion of the Middle East
dissention and everyone is
urged to attend.

to join a committee for the
advancement of understand-
ing of the U. N. It was sug-
gested that all educational
literauter from this source
be displayed at the library
for the general use of the.
students.
