Social fraternities on our
campus have selected
pledge captains for the
coming pledge season.
The pledge captain is in
charge of planning activi-
ties for the incoming rush-
ees and the adoption of a
suitable set of regulations
and rules for new mem-
bers.

Charter Buses
To SFA Game
A number of students
have requested a charter*-
ed bus to Nacogdoches for
the Stephen F. Austin game
Saturday, Oct. 6.
Arrangements have been
completed and tickets will
go on sale in the Union for
$3.50.
The buses are first class
and air-conditioned..

Thirty-five tickets must be
sold for each bus.
Tickets sales will close
at 12 noon Thursday, Oct.
4• Tickets will be num-
bered and refunds will he
made if less than the re-
quired number is sold.
Refunds will be made at
the Union counter begin-
ning at 9 a.m. Friday
morning.
Buses will depart from
the rear of the Union-Gym
promptly at 3:30 p.m. and
return immediately after
the game. Students going
via bus must return by bus
unless arrangements are
made in advance with the
Dean of Student Life.
Lamar student activity
cards will admit students
to the game without charge.
Dean Kelton urges every-
one who takes a car to
drive slowly.
