The Lamar Tech Cardin-
al Band will tour three
Texas cities March 8-9
and climax their trip with
four days in Mexico City
where they will play two
concerts, one at the Na-
tional University of Mex-
ico.
The concert tour will be-
gin in Victoria Thursday,
March 8 with the first con-
cert and extend through
concerts in Beeville Fri-
day morning and in Laredo
Friday afternoon.
The group will travel by
train to Mexico City Satur-
day, March 10 where they
will complete their con-
cert tour.
Special features in the
five concert tour will be
the drum trio composed of
Barbara Russell, Joe Block
and Nancy Adams,and the
trumpet trio composed of
F rank Brewer, David Low-
ry and Richard Burkart, a
member of the music fac-
ulty.
Under the direction of
Charles A. Wiley,the tour
program will consist of the
following numbers:
