Dr. Ed F. Comegys, well known in
Denton, but a resident of Gainesville,
and Miss Oretchen Einsiedl, also of that
place, were married there at 10 o'clock
Tuesday morning. The couple passed
through here Tuesday afternoon en
route to New Orleans on a bridal tour
and were met at the depot by several
friends. From New Orleans they will
go to New York and will take a trip to
Cuba.

state Superintendent of Public Instruc-
tion Kendall at Austin a copy of the
re (lntion recently passed by the city
c uncil anent the selling of the North
Ti xas Normal college. A permit to
make the sale will have to be obtained
and then the selling will be turned over
to the s'ate board of ins-ruction. No
offers for the building have as yet (been
re eived and for the time the matter
in statu quo.
An Aged Lady Dead.
Mrs. E P. Parr died Tuesday morn-
ing at the residence of her son, J. C.
Parr, south of town, at the advanced
age of 82 years. The deceased was a
Texas pioneer, having first landed in
the state in the 40's The interment
took place yesterday afternoon at the
Odd Fellow's cemetery, the services
which were conducted by Rev. F. P
Charlt'n, being held at the Cumber
land Presbyterian church.
