Hospital News
Mrs. B W. Hall was discharged
from the hospital on Monday. Jan-
uary 3rd.
Mrs. H M Fields was admitted on
the 3rd and she and baby soik were
di&miaaed on the 9th.
Shirley Ann Ashley was discharg-
ed on January 3rd
Bella Gay Gee was dismissed on
t te 3rd.
Mrs Calude R Todd of Franklin.
Louisiana, was discharged on the
3rd.
Darwin nils, medical patient, was
dismissed on the 8th.
Mrs. B. W Mathis and baby son
were dismissed on the 8th
Mrs. M L. Doggett was dismissed
on Thursday Jan. 6.
Mrs. Mane Ewing, medical pa-
tient. was discharged on the 5th.
Mra C. P Jones was dismissed on
the 7th after major surgery
Mrs. Myrtle Maxwell was admit-
ted on the 5th as a medical patient
and discharged on the 8th

condition is greatly improved at

on January 9th and ahe and baby

The Purvey Hume Demonstration
Club met for the first session of
1948 in the home of Miss Haxel
Bag ley on Thursday, January 6th.
The meeting was opened by the
reading of the dub prayer and
pledge Two songs were sung and
the minutes of the last meeting
were read and approved
The report of the Chunttl dele-
gate was heard and the constitu-
tion was read by the president.
Mra J C Turney It was adopted
by the club The year books were
filled out and committees appointed
to demonstrate ‘.he various projects
included in the work program for
the year Plans were made far par-
ticipation in the serving of lunches
for the tat stock show and the REA
meeting the 10th and 11th.
The roll call was answered by
giving the moat helpful housekeep-
ing aid
Refreshments of pop com balls
and delicious candles were *ervad
to thirteen member* Those present
were Mmes Hun, Elmer and Odell
Woods. John Mathews. Henry Reese
