THE CITIZEN, THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 19.50
Houston teen-agers jammed the Emerald room of the
Shamrock Sunday afternoon to swoon to the crooning
of their favorite singer, Frank Sinatra. The Emerald room,
huge as it is, wouldn't hold all the fans who came to
listen to Frankie and dance to the music of Henry King's
orchestra. To take care of the overabundance of youthful
music lovers, the Shamrock management threw open the
Grecian room, then stepped aside while the kids spent a
happy afternoon.
