Incumbent Amy Allen has
filed for reelection for" Place 2
on the school board as has
incumbent Terrel Nemons in
Place I.
Nemons will be challenged
by former school board mem-
ber James Charles, who lost his
seat on the board to Sonya
(irass in the May 2006 election.

Cave painting
workshop held
German expressionist artist
Marion Albrecht will be con-
ducting an art workshop at
Northwood University on
Saturday, March 17, at 10:30
a.m.
The workshop will teach
techniques for creating “cave
paintings” on canvas. The cost
'is $15 per person and enroll-
ment is limited to 20 people.
The workshop will be held
outdoors at the university
amphitheater but will be moved
inside in case of rain. For more
