A class in Baptist
doctrine is being
taught at the Cedar
Heights Baptist Church
at 7:15 p.m. each Wed-
nesday evening, meet-
ing temporarily in the
Community Center.
Rev. Don Childress,
pastor of the church will
be teaching the class
and he said that the
class was prin cipally
for the members of the
church and for anyone
else who might be in-
terested in the beliefs
of the Baptists.
He said that since
the church was only a
few weeks old, all of
the members are new
members.
Anyone in the Com-
munity, even though
they are not Baptists,
who would like to
learn what the Baptists
believe, are invited to
^attend, he said.
The Royal Ambas-
sadord, the boys organ--
ization of the church
^and the Girls in Action,
the girls organization,
meets at 6 p.m. each
Wednesday.
Lonnie and Kathy
Erwin are leaders for
these groups.

a daughter, Angela Renee,
born October 12 at Meth-
odist Hospital in Dallas .
The Moores are the par-
