When Draak and Pketina crawl
through the rope at the city auditorium
Friday night and start their little argu-
ment the fans will see the two fastest
big men in the ring in action. Joe
Stecher admitted to be the speediest
of the heavies isn't as large aa either
Plestina or Draak and it is doubtful
whether he is as fast as Plestina even
at his weight. '
Plestina will enter the ring weigh-
ing 220 pounds. He weighed more than
that when he met Stecher two years ago
but with all his reputed superiority of
speed Stecher was never able to get
behind Plestipa in their two-hour strug-
gle. Stecher received the decision but
Clarence Eklund who 'watched the bout
declared on bis last visit here that Ples-
tina was at least entitled to draw and

Draak
in reality should have had the victory.
Eklund contends 'that Plestina ia faster
than Stecher and - that he is without
doubt the fastest big man since the dy
of Gotch.
Draak'a reputation - has been largely
built up on bis speed and whirlwind
attack. He waste no time moves re-
markably fast fdT a chap of his weight
and possesses almost super-human
strength in his arm and shoulders.
Draak is of a highly intelligent type of
wrestler and has mastered the tricks of
the trade-much more rapidly than many
other grappler not ft well endowed
mentally. He 'is meeting the toughest
opponent he ever f need- in Plestina and
will undoubtedly have a chance to ex-
hibit all his remarkable wrestling ability
to give the Serbian a rub.
May Use Salvaged Rails
From 'France in Texas
Associated Press Report.
SAN ANTONIO July 8. Use of ec-
tional narrow gage railroad salvaged
from equipment sent the American ex-
peditionary forces in France probably
will be made soon in the Big Bend dis-
trict of Texas according to officers of
the southern department following the
visit here of Lieutenant Colonel II. B.
Perlee United States engineer corps to
ascertain southern department needs for
such material.
The railway under consideration is
made in 12-foot section and may be laid
as rapidly as needed. It use officers
said would be for emergency transpor-
tation rather than as a permanent line
although it might be used permanently to
posts far from the railroad. . Moat of the
Big Bend secttbn where regular cavalry
ha been established in considerable
numbers since 1916 is without even good
automobile roads bat transportation of
freight by motor trucks baa been the
usual practice for the past two years.
The contemplated use of the section
narrow gage railroad would officers of
the southern department Intimated be
likewise experimental. '
