Sports films available
to community groups
One of the largest collections of sports
films in the country is available to community
groups on a free-loan basis from the Miller
Brewing Company.
The Miller Sports Film Library includes 50
color films on basketball, football, skiing,
auto racing, boating, fishing, rodeo and many
other sports. For great moments in sports,
highlight films going back to 1960 also are
available.
“These films are excellent for small groups
or large audiences.” said Thomas Shropshire,
Miller senior vice president. “They provide
free, entertaining programs for a variety of
sports-interest groups throughout the coun-
try.”
Each 16mm film is approximately 20
minutes long.

will be held September 12-13. Time TBA in
the college gymnasium.
Any student with prior playing experience
from other schools and military players are
eligible for try-outs. Other interested persons
must be approved by the basketball coach.
