The ordinance will he en-
forced, with penalties in ef-
fect. beginning August 1. of-
ficials said.

a large scale, it has become

This is an old ordinance but has not been strictly enforced.
EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1 the ordinance will be enforced. All Rock-
dale residents are requested to see that they have good garbage cans,
adequately covered. If yours is not, you have until August 1 to get it in
proper condition.
This action is being taken by the City for the benefit of all the
people of Rockdale. Your co-operation is respectfully and urgently re-
quested.
