The local cotton market remained
unchanged yesterday, the staple be-
ing quoted at from 27 to 29 cents.
Only four bales were sold during the
day, two of which were bolls. The
cold weather made buying very slow
and few farmers were in town. Other
departments of the market remain
the same, bolls being quoted 4 to 6
cents, seed cotton 10 to 10 M cents
and cotton seed $65 a ton.
Local Produce Market.
The demand is becoming stronger
for butter, eggs and poultry on the
local market. Yesterday the mer-
chants were offering the following
prices to the producer:
Eggs, per dozen, 45 cents.
Butter, per pound, 40 cents.
Chickens:
Fryers, per pound 17 cents.
Hens, 13 cents per pound.
Sweet potatoes, per bushel, $1.7o
Irish potatoes, per bushel, fl.45.
Homo grown Japanese Ribbon Cane
Pecans, per pound, 11 cents.
Syrup, per gallon, $1.00.
Turnips, per bushel, $1.00.
Hay Market.
Hay is selling locally to dealers at
$17 to $18 a ton. Dallas market is
quoted at $22.
Grain Market.
Wheat is selling to local mills at
$2.03 a bushel.
Bran is quoted $1.90 a hundred.
Flour, the best, $5.50 per hundred .
Oats are selling at 82 cents a bush-
el sacked and 78 centsJn tulk.
New com or. ear brings $1.25 to
$1.50 a bushel.
Hogs and Cattle.
Hogs on local market were quoted
yesterday at $17.00. The Fort Worth
market ren-eti around $16.50.
Beef cattle quoted locally o and 6^4
cents. Oa Fort Worth market they
were qu.ted $4.50 to $10J>0.

Veal Roast, 25 cents per pound.

County of Grayson for four weeks

summon Will Gadson whose residence
is unknown, to be and appear before
the District Court, 15th Judicial Dis-
trict of Grayson County, to be holden
in and for the County of Grayson, at
the Court Houso thereof in Sherman
on the first Monday in January,
A. D., 1918, then and there to an-
swer a petition filed in the said court
on the 3rd day of November 1917,
wherein Lucy Gadson is Plaintiff, and
Will Gadson is defendant, the file num-

the estate of said Wilson N. Jones,
deceased, to the Trustes named in the
will of said Wilson N. Jones, and that
it be adjudged by the court as to
how the Trustee shall handle the
trust fund when turned over to then:

judged in what way it shall be dispos
ed of and invested and managed for
carrying out the purposes of said
Wilson N. Jones as expressed in his
