Mrss Lucy Cox came over from
Voss and spent Friday and Saturday
with Miss Audrey Lee Ward
Grandpa Slate, who has been very
ill for some time, is reported no bet-
ter. We sincerely hope his condition
will improve in the near future,
School is progressing nicely. We
have good attendance and everybody
is taking great interest in everything
pertaining to school matters. The
girls have a basket ball team, and
the boys have organized a baseball
team.
Frank Priddy says he cannot be up
later than 12:30 p. m., on Sunday
night, because his father has him get
up extra early Monday morning,
sometimes as early as 8:00 o’clock.
Charlie Patton says be is glad
Frank does not believe in being up
late, for he has always been very
strongly opposed to the idea himself.
