send eight men to Dallas October
13 for pre-induction physical exa-
minations, reports Fred Sackett,
board chairman.
Mr. Sackett does not know, how
many men will be included In the
first draft call, but less than 700
are being called from the entire
state.

Everyone was so glad to see as
many out as there was for Sunday
school and church Sunday. There
has been SO many colds and sick-
ness through our community this

So sorry’ to report Ida Mae Ham-
ilton is on the sick list this week
Mrs. Mamie Greer, Mr,,and Mrs.
Joe Greer, are at Brownfield hos-
pital with her daughter-tn-law, Mrs.
J. D. Roust who has undergone an
operation. The Leps Creek com-
munity wishes for her a speedy
recovery.
The community was so sorry to
hear about Carlene Cope being sick
again. Do hope she will soon be
well and about again.
