Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Miller com-
plimented employees of the J. c.
Penney Company and their fami-
lies with a Christmas dinner and
party at their home, 503 W. Walnut
Friday evening.
The fcfie was appropriately
decorate^Jcr the Yule Season.
The dinner table was centered
with a glistening white arrange-
ment which,was dotted with vari-
colored radients.
The dinner of chicken, dressing,
gravy, red congealed, fruit and
/potato salad; stuffed celery, green
peas, hot rolls, olives, pickles and
pecan pic with whipped cream 'was
tserved buffet-style at quartet
tables!
Guests
had previously drawn
names for the exchange of gifts.
Comical presents, which created
many humorous situations, were
also handed from the tree by the
Miller daughters, Carolyn, Erma-
mell and Nanalene.
Mr, Miller presented his .staff
with bonuses and they in turn gave
Mr. -find Mrs. Miller a 46 piece piece
set of Rose-point china.
