day, January 31, 1976 at 12:45
a,m. in Overall-Morris Memor-
ial Hospital.
Born Oct. 22, 1900. in Bell
County, he was the son of
Thomas J. and Carrie Mitchell
Hanev. He and- Miss Anna
McQueen were-married, in
Santa Anna on Noy. 10,1920. A
Coleman County resident since
*1916, he was a retired farmer
and painter and a member of
the Pentecostal Church.
Funeral sendees were held
Monday, Feb. 2, at 2 p.m. in
Stevens Memorial Chapel with
Rev. P. A. Lindley. pastor pf
the Pentecostal Church, and
Rev. Ed Bighairtr pastor of the
Central Baptist.Church, officia-
ting. Burial was .in Brown'
Ranch. Cemetery directed by
Stevens Funeral Home.
Survivors -are. his wife of
Coleman;, three daughters,
Mrs. Muriel Metts of Coleman,
Mrs. Faye Lynn of Odessa. Mo.,
and Mrs. Shirley Tredaway o,f
Denver City; a son, Carl Haney
of Odessa. Mo.; five sisters,
Mrs. Ima Fessler of St. Louis,
Mo., Mrs. Georgia Rattcliff of
San Angelo, Mrs. Connie
Villareal of Los' Angeles, Calif,,
Mrs. Bobbie Lee Carr of Dallas,
and Mrs. Irene Richardson of
Waverly, Illinois'; three broth
ers, Cecil Haney of Sulphur,
La., Ira Haney of Brownwood
and John Haney of Dalhart.

1976. in Veterans Admwistra;
lion Hospital at Big Spring.
Funeral services are set for
2:30 p.m, today, Tuesday, in
. Stevens Memorial Chapel, with
the Rev. Bill Merritt of First
Baptist Church as officiating
, minister. Interment will be in
Coleman City Cemetery under
direction of Stevens Funeral
Home.
Mr. Ripley was born October
• 29, 1887; in Washington. Coun
ty, Texas, to the late Augustus
B. and Mary E. Wyatt Ripley,
He was married in Fort Worth
December 29, 1917, to Maudie
Moser, who died October 29,
1935. He was a retired oil
driller, a.member of First
Baptist Church and the Down
town Sunday School Class, and
a veteran of World War 1. He
•was also a member of Electra
Masonic Lodge and l&s^ta'
Falls Shriners.
His survivors include two
sisters. Mrs. Josie E. Ward,
