Mrs! Walter C. Woodward gave
'a most interesting talk on her
trip to Hawaii at the regular
meeting of the Shakespeare Club
when 15 members and seven
guests met Tuesday at the Libra-
ry at 4 p. m. for the first meeting
of the year.
Mrs. H. M. Thomson, presi-
dent, conducted the business
meeting.
The pledge to the flag was giv-
en, and Mrs. E. M. Jones, who
was leader for the afternoon,
gave a paper on Federation Day.
The installation of the new of-
ficers took place with each new
officer being installed by Mrs.
Ray Martin who presented each
one with a single carnation cos-
age, the club flower, tied with
pink and green satin ribbons, the
club colors.
Officers installed are as fol-
lows: Mrs. Jessie Martin, presi-
dent, Mrs. Ruth Williams, vice-
president, Mrs. E. B. Blackwell,
secretary, Mrs. E. M. Jones,
treasurer, Mrs. R. Floyd Price,
critic, Mrs. R. G. Hollingsworth,
Parliamentarian, and Mrs. H. M.
Thomson, Club counselor.
Mrs. Jessie Martin, the new
president, then took charge of
the meeting.
