LAS VEGAS - When EN-
GLEBERT HUMPERDINK
applied for a gun permit in
Vegas he was turned down
and the entertainer filed a
lawsuit in hopes of being
71 able to carry a gun.
Why is the entertainer so
adamant about tarrying a
firearm? Could it be that be
found out that his name was
on a hit list?

Is it true that DOLLY
PARTON is going bald? Is it
true that she has a scalp dis-
order that has been making
her hair slowly (all out over
the last few years?
Although they are just ru-
mors a number of people
swear that they’ve been
hearing this gossip the last
couple of months claiming
that it’s been one of the best-
kept secrets in Hollywood.
In addition, is it true that
Dolly was seen leaving the
office of a transplant spe-
cialist a couple of months
ago? Just asking.
Here’s the latest on the
battle of the talkers —
MIKE, MERV, and DAVID-
SON.
An unsigned telegram has
been making its way across
the country. It reads:
JOHN DAVIDSON is look-
ing for a new home on the
East Coast and reportedly
will be doing the same out
west. WCBS (New York) has
dropped “The John Davidson
Show" when the current con-
tract runs out in June. Group
Westinghouse is shopping
the show on the streets but,
so far. no takers.
It’s also been reported
that Davidson won’t be tap-
ing at NBC in Burbank much
longer Insiders say it’s be-
cause the NBC crew doesn't
like working on the show
while Group Westinghouse
people claim it’s because of
the high prices being
charged by NBC.
Davidson’s Group W
scouting team was seen on
the Metromedia lot in Holly-
wood recently. ... The same
lot where MIKE DOUGLAS
tapes his show. While this
probably doesn’t mean tha
demise of the show, it’s obvi-
ous it takes more than a
pretty fact to host a talk
show.
While tha wadding was off
hr Valentine s Day, GLEN
CAMPBELL and TANYA
TUCKER were wearing
their “sweetheart presents.’’
They gave each other to
show their love, matching
full-length black mink coats.
Tanya’s mink to Glen,
which she paid for, bad a
label inside which read
“Glen Campbell, Tanya’s
Man”
During the taping of the
recent American Music
awards, sexy SUSAN
ANTON was a knockout in
more ways than one. While
racing to get on stage she
smashed her head into a low
door and almost knocked
herself out. Many perform-
ers would have refused to go
on, but la spite of an intense^
headache she choee to par* .
