and about and collecting
your news the last two

Those two trips to Hou-
ston to see a doctor
followed by emergency
laser surgery on both
eyes in Nacogdoches in
the early aoming two
Saturdays ago have kept
us pretty busy, My vis-
ion is still good, and
we are very thankful.
Vonnie Anz and her bro-
ther, Otto Stilley, were
In Houston last Sunday
with Iter husband Jack
Anz. Mr. Anz had been in
Panola General Hospital
for weeks and has been
back in M.D. Anderson
two weeks or so and is
very ill. Mrs. Anz spen-
ds much time at his bed-
side but, is at hcae for
a few days' rest.
After twenty years in
Vienna, Austria, Bette
Bogue Burtger and her
husband, Reid, have re-
turned to live in the
States. Reid has had an
illustrious career with
the Vienna State Opera
and Bette with the Amer-
ican school there. They
are at present living in
Rose Hill. Their two
sons, Reid and Brad, are
students in Stephen F.
Austin University. Mr.*
Mrs. Joe Bogue are Bet-
te's parents; Mrs. Ethel
Bunger of Ft. North Is
Reid's mother.
It was a beautiful wed-
ding in Friendswood Oct.
20th, we hear. About two
hundred guests were
there to witness the
marriage of Suzanne Fer-
guson and Lonnie Layman.
Both attended the uni-
versity in Austin and
both are now employed in
that city. Suzanne is
the daughter of Helen
Billingsley ami the late
Aubin Ferguson. Neither
set of Timpson grandpar-
ents were up to going
for the occasion. In-
stead. Thelma and Howard
Tillman and Presf*'" ar4
I are looking forward to
seeing the pictures and
hearing all about it
when David and Helen
come up.
Guests in our home Sat-
urday were my brother.
Gilbert Anderson, and
his wife, Mozelle, from
Henderson. It was a
pleasant visit catching
up with news of our fam-
ilies.
