Janeice Huggins are pleased to
announce the birth of their
daughter, Chloey Janeice Rollins.
Chloey was bom at 3:16 p.m. on
April 13, 2006 at Harris Methodist
Erath County Hospital weighing 6
lbs., 3 oz. and was 19 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are
Carolyn and David O’Neal, of
North Richland Hills, and paternal
grandparents are Betty and Ray L.
Rollins of Dublin.
Maternal great-grandmother is
Vivian Bond, of Bumeyville, OK,
and paternal great-grandparents
are Gene and Quata .Williams of Dublin and Lester and Daisy Rollins
of Mineral Wells.
Paternal great-great-grandmother is Maggie Williams.

Robert “Bob” and Rose Roeth married on May 5, 1943 in Long
.Island while he was on leave from the service. He went on to be a
carpenter and they moved to Texas about five years ago. They have
one son, Bob Roeth and his wife Vicky, three grandchildren and
one great-grandchild and one more on the way.
JeweleZ R,C. Whitely - 50 years
Jewel and R.C. Whitely were married June 2, 1956 in DeLeon
at Northside Baptist Church. The couple lived in San Angelo
before moving to Dublin 40 years ago. R.C worked as an
electrician for Tarleton for more than 25 years and Jewel was a
cook in the cafeteria at Dublin ISD for more than 25 years. They
are both now retired. They have two children, Linda Sanders from
DeLeon and James Whitely and wife, Brandy, from Early. They
have four granddaughters. A reception will be held at the First
Assembly of God Church Fellowship Hall in Dublin Sunday, June
4 from 2-4 p.m.

Cisco Junior College held
its annual commencement
exercises in the Harrell Fine
Arts Auditorium on Friday
May 5, 2006.
Ninety-seven students
representing both the Cisco
campus and the Abilene
Educational Center received
their Associate degrees.
Among the students awarded a
diploma was Nolan
Carmichael of Dublin.
Dublin native
named chief
tech officer
Martin Yarborough, a Dublin
native and 1975 graduate of
Dublin High School, will
assume the position of Chief
Technology Officer of the Fort
Worth Independent School
District in Fort Worth, Texas
later this summer. Yarborough
currently serves in a similar
capacity for Abilerte public
schools.
Yarborough attended Tarleton
State University in Stephenville,
obataining a B.S. Degree in
Chemistry/Biology in 1979 and
a M. Ed. Degree in Education
Administration in 1990. Prior to
employment in at Abilene ISD,
Yarborough was the Executive
Director of Technology for the
Granbuiy school district. He and
his wife Paula and son Taylor are
residents of Granbury.
He is the son of Gary and
Charmon Yarborough of Dublin.
Brett Demetruk, 16, son of
Patrick and Katharine
demetruk of Stephenville,
received his Eagle Scout award
at a court of honor by Troop 39
on May 21. Brett will be a
Junior at Stephenville High
School where he is a member of
the football team and
symphonic band.
