heirs and their named ancestors
being unknown to plaintiffs, to
be and appear at the next regular
term of the District Court for the
63rd Judicial District of Texas,
held in and for Brewster County,
Texas, to be holden at the court
house thereof in the citv of Alpine
on the 5th Monday after the first
Monday in January, which is the
8th day of February, A. D. 1915,
then and there to answer a peti-
tion filed in said court on the 10
day of December. A. D. 1914,
in a suit numbered on the docket
of said Court No. 751 wherein L.
H. Browne and G. S. Combs are
plaintiffs and Charles R. Cornell
and his unknown heirs and the
unknown heirs of said unknow
heirs, are defendants, alleging
substantially as follows,rto-wit:
That on or about the first day
of August, A. D. 1914, Plain-
tiffs were lawfully seized and
possessed of the following de-
scribed land and premises, in
Brewster County, Texas, and are
now so seized and possessed,
holding the same in fee simple,
to-wit: 640 acres, Abstract No.
1714, Certificate No. 255, Survey
No. 55, D. & W. Ry. Co.,
Original Grantee.
That Charles R. Cornell and
his unknown heirs and the un-
known heirs of said unknown
heirs are setting up some claim to
said land, the basis ot which
claim is unknown fo Plaintiffs,
which said claim is a cloud upon
the title to said land, That Plain-
tiffs claim said land by virture of
having purchased all the title
thereto and all interest therein ot
the said Defendants at Sheriff’s
sale on the 2nd dav of July 1912.
Plaintiffs further pray for ciati-
tion by publication, and for judg-
ment for the title and possession
of the above described land, and
for annulment and cancellation of
the claim of the defendants there-
to,. and for general and special
relief.
Herein fail not, but have you
before said court on the said next
term thereof, this writ with your
return thereon, showing how vou
have executed the same.
