The monthly meeting of the
Executive Comittee of the Red
Cross will be held on Monday
evening. July 8. at 5 p. m. In the
Commercial Club Rooms. - All
committees are ex|»ected to report
at that time.
The quota of knitted articles for
July, August and September, for
the local chapter, is 320 Sweaters
and 240 pairs of sox. fill this
quota, they wiH need the help of
every patriotic knitter. Won’t you
knit qne or several sweaters or
pairs of sox? The yarn may be
had at Mrs. R. E. Taylor.
Sevral electric fans have been
installed in the rooms also, thru
the generosity of some of our
citizens. During the several
warm days of thr summer these
will lie very instrumental in mak-
ing the Red Cross rooms a de-
sirable working place. Both the
fans and the current have been
donated.
Our quota for the next three
months in the Red Cross has been
sent from St. Louis, and it is
heavy indeed. It will mean that
