: AN APPEAL,
t Wfty citlaens t of Hopkins county,
living ttear MWkey, had their crops
uWSrtlT destroyed by hsil a few days
sad It Is too late to plant over.
They were at a heavy expense in mak-
ing a crop, having to buy all their
feed. This has left them in a deplor-
able condition, each one being as crip-
pled as is his neighbor, and one unable
to help .the other, and it is awful times
for them. % * 1
Good people of Hopkins county, who
are raising plenty, let’s help them.
Say, 10 or 20 bushels of com from one,
and some oats from another; five or
ten dollars from those who are getting
along alright; let us aU do something.
When we go to gather and sell and
store our crops, gentlemen, tor good-
ness sake, keep this in mind and come
to the assistance of your stricken
countrymen. B. P. TATUM,
R. P. D. 6, Sulphur Springs, Tex.
