Anderson Ford to
Award Scholarships
(Cleveland, TX, January 2002)
- Anderson Ford Mercury of
Cleveland, TX is sponsoring four
$1,000 scholarships to be
awarded to local FFA members
in the Spring of 2002. Anderson
Ford Mercury has been a partici-
pating dealer in the Ford Trucks/
FFA Scholarship Program for the
past year. This Ford Trucks/FFA
scholarship is one of 4 that will
be awarded by Anderson Ford
Mercury to FFA members in their
trade area who are high school
seniors planning to attend college
during the 2002-2003 school
year. In addition, Ford Trucks
sponsors five national scholar-
ships affording those applicants
who do not fall within a partici-
pating Ford dealer trade area an
opportunity to receive a scholar-
ship.
This is the fifth year of the Ford

$1,690,000 to FFA members
since 1997. Ford Trucks is the
largest sponsor in the FFA schol-

match an addition $500. FFA
members may apply for one of the
405 Ford Truck scholarships
through a special Ford Trucks
scholarship application available
from Anderson Ford Mercury.
Students may also download the
applications at www.ffa/activi-
ties/scholarships.org.
_As a special incentive for FFA
chapters and members, Ford
Trucks once again has chosen to

scoring applications. For details
on this exciting program contact

ment, accomplishments and tal-
ents of FFA members throughout
theU.S. Ford Trucks and Ander-

scholarships as a special project
of the National FFA Foundation.
For 53 years Ford has supported
the FFA, and for more than 50
years, people all over America
have been putting Ford Trucks to
work. Ford Trucks know the
value of hard work, and believe
that it should be rewarded. That’s
why Ford has increased the Ford

each year since its inception.
Educating aspiring young people

Good work doesn’t go unrewarded at Cleveland Regional
Medical Center. On February 6th, two departments were rec-
ognized for breaking records. The radiology department (top
photo) broke their monthly record by performing 3,002 proce-
dures! Maternity wowed every one by setting a 2001 record
with 509 babies bom at CRMC! Congratulations to all staff
involved, and keep up the good work!

Step back in time when you step aboard this river belle, reminiscent of
gamblers and easy days on the Mississippi.
This 82-foot long riverboat shared its birth with Lake Livingston, be-
ing launched for the first time when the lake was filled. The builder of
this stately beauty used to build floating bridges for the military, and the
hull is 1/4” steel. Diesel fuel powers this running craft, complete with
two paddlewheels.
Five walnut-paneled bedrooms or staterooms, three complete baths
with showers (bidet in master) grace her length, adorned with tufted
leather and a Franklin fireplace. The galley sports a stove, refrigerator,
dishwasher, deep freeze and fish cutting board and bar sink.
After entertaining, retire to the pilot house on the third level.
It cost in excess of one million• dollars to create this floating work of
art, and is a steal at $150,000.
This graceful lady, now moored at Cape
Royale, is looking for a new home. For J % i

largest boat on Lake Livingston, call John
