Wade Martin Knox, 7, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, in Roseau, Minnesota. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007, in Lawn
Baptist Church, with Reverend Michael Berry officiating. Burial will be in Tuscola Cemetery, directed by Fry-Bartlett Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Wade was born June 23, 1999, in Abilene to Greg and Stephanie Chrz Knox. He was an A-honor roll student at Jim Ned-Lawn
Elementary School. He was an avid reader and enjoyed swimming and playing baseball. He loved hunting and fishing with his family
and friends. He attended Tuscola United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Greg and Stephanie Knox of Tuscola; one brother, Alan Knox of Tuscola; grandparents, Merle and
Carolyn Knox of Baird and David and Jacquie Chrz of Abilene; great-grandfather, Jack Kelley of Tuscola; a great-grandmother, Jean
Heise of Austin, Minnesota; an uncle and aunt, Matt and Julie Knox of Warroad, Minnesota; cousins, Jessica and Mickey Knox, also of
Warroad; and many other extended family members and friends in the Tuscola area and in Minnesota.
Memorials may be made to Tuscola Cemetery Association, P. O. Box 293, Tuscola, Texas 79562.

Barbara Ann Madsen, 72, of Abilene, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at
2:00 p.m. at Burkett Cemetery on Saturday, June 2nd, 2007, with Rev. Clayton Pennington officiating, under the direction of Community
Memorial Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd St.
Visitation will be Friday, June 1st, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Barbara was born in Illinois on August 4, 1934. She worked as a waitress for more than 50 years in the Abilene, Midland and Odessa
area and was known for her great enchiladas. Barbara always served people with a smile; and was a loving mother, grandmother and
sister.
She is survived by two sons, James Maxey and wife, Roxanne, of Mesquite, TX and Bryan Madsen and wife, Beckie, of Abilene; one
daughter, Dana Stark and husband, Ernest, of Abilene; a sister, Sherry Cutty and husband, Robert, of Coeur d'Alene, ID; nieces and
nephews, Terry, Anna and William O'Keefe and Steffen Soppeland; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many other
relatives and friends.
