bodice was lace with a high
chlffonet yoke edged with a
ruffled collar It had bishop
sleeves of chiffonet and lace
applique The bride’s floor-
length skirt of chiffonet over
silk was accented with lace and
swept around a chapel train
Her veil of chlffonet was edged
with matching lace and fell
from a lace and pearl crown
She carried a bridal bouquet of
white roses accented with blue
and white forget-me-nots and
white lace
Mrs Annette Miller served
as matron of honor The
bridesmaids were Miss Patty
Veaely. sister of the groom and
Mias Lynn Kusenburger The
dresses were floor-length blue
floral organza over solid blue
They carried bouquets of blue
daisies and white baby's
breath with blue ribbons The
matron of honor’s bouquet was
accented with peach forget-
me-nots

Chapter Decides On Scholarship
Final decision was made on
the graduating Gregorv-
Portland senior who will be
recipient of the Eda Teel $250
Memonal Scholarship Award
when Alpha Delta Mu met
Tuesday evening. April 22. at
the home of Debbie
Martindale
Award will be presented and
the recipient revealed by Ann
Marie Brunkenhoefer and
Carolyn Quinet at Gregory-
Portland High School awards
assembly May 9
The sorority voted to back
the passing on of excess funds
from the June Beta Sigma Phi
state convention to first and
second runners-up of the state
service project.
It was decided to enter the
names of deceased members,
Eda Teel and Claire Walton, in
the state convention memorial
services
Carolyn Quinet. ways and
means chairman, reported that
even though the Coke booth at
Portland Pioneer Days was a
lot of work, it was a rewarding
success, and everyone seemed
to enjoy participating in the
parade
A special thanks went to
Dennis Quinet for furnishing
and driving the truck in the
parade Again. Alpha Delta Mu
is grateful to the husbands of
the group for their continued
support in projects undertaken
by the group
Decorations for Beta Sigma
Phi Founder’s Day were
discussed. Final arrangements
were made to attend the event
at Nolan's Fireside Inn April
30

date was set for May 31 for a
family outing
