The cost of this road amount to really nothing, for those who
own Xun automobiles. One trip to Harlingen m bad weather
depreciates a car more and cost more m repair bills, than .he ave
rage man’s increase in taxes in a whole year.
We have the climate, the soil, the schools and we will soon Jfcve
ffood churches. All we need now is good roads so that the tourist
will come and spend their money. The tourist crop will brms more
money in to this county, in one month, than last year s cotton crop.
It does not matter where you live in this county or towns West
side east side north or south, this hardsurface road will help you
someway. If’you are just working for wages, work will be easiei
to get and probably with more pay.
