Don’t Neglect Them!
Nature designed the kidneye to do •
marvelous job. Their task is to keep the
flowing blood stream free of an excess of
toxic impurities. The act of living—life
iteelf—is constantly producing waste
matter the kidneys must remove from
the blood If good heath Is to endure.
When the kidneys fail to function as
Nature intended, there is retention of
waste that may cause body-wide dis-
tress. One may suffer nagging backache,
persistent headache, attacks of dixsiness,
getting up nights, swelling, puffiness
undei the eyes—feel tired, nervous, all
worn out. ,
Frequent, scanty or burning passages
are Hometimes further evidence of kid-
ney or bladder disturbance.
The recognized and proper treatment
is a diuretic medicine to help the kidneys

It’s clean... it’s fast... it’s economical! The CP seal on your gas range means it meets
the gas industry’s most exacting requirements.
There’s controlled performance, too, in your gas kitchen—the control that makes you
a better cook because it keeps an adequate supply of natural gas flowing into the
distribution lines of your community, always in step with the peaks and valleys
of volume used.
This is the control made possible by United Gas, with more than 1,200 gas
wells or purchase connections, with 6,000 miles of main pipe lines. This
is dependability for more than 300 cities and towns in Texas, Loui-
siana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. It’s good to have
gas in your home, when it’s backed up by...

are you Mr. Staub? Do you re-
member Dick Jones, the Mayor
of Sebring, Ohio, when you and
he operated the Sebring Times?
We agreed that we still remem-

McNatt of do Xou think I am? We just
' said that we reallv could not
say, after some guessing Mr.
and Mrs. Staub were at a loss
as to who he could be., so he
said I am Fred Baumgartner,
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Baumgartner, City Marshal of
Sebring, Ohio back in 1904. At

Mr. Baumgartner was accom-

sending our greetings to his
Mother and our relatives and
friends back in the old home
town which we left in Septem-
ber 1914, coming to TEXAS and
soon to Smithville where we are
still operating, the Times plant.
If you once come to Texas you
can never get away from the
fine climate and almost all you
can wish for—Sunshine spends
the winter in Texas as well as
in the summertime.
Mr. Baumgartner’s father
may be remembered here by
some of the older base ball fans
who have kept up with the Na-
tional League players back in
1900 to 1904 when they played
in the Southern States, and he
had quite a reputation as a good
player in those ^days.
